Destiny 2 has just introduced a bunch of new weapons as part of the Joker’s Wild DLC and the Season of the Drifter. These Pinnacle Weapons are fully masterworked weapons with curated rolls, so are possibly the best in the game at this time. We’ve already covered how to get the Oxygen SR3, and now it’s time to get another of these Pinnacle Weapons: the 21% Delirium machine gun. While it’s tough to get, it’s certainly worth it, and we’re here to show you how to get the Destiny 2 Joker’s Wild 21% Delirium Pinnacle Weapon by completing the Notorious Hustle Triumph.
Destiny 2 Joker’s Wild 21% Delirium Pinnacle Weapon | Get By Your Bootstraps quest
In order to get the 21% Delirium, at the start you’ll have to get the quest with the Pinnacle Weapon as the reward in the first place. Head to the Tower, in the Annex section, and talk to the Drifter a.k.a. Zavala. He’s in his usual spot, if you’ve been to see him before. He’ll have a series of quests for you now. Once you’ve done talking to him, look under “Pursuits” and you’ll see the quests to get the Pinnacle Weapons. You may have completed Redeployment already to get the Oxygen SR3, but to get the 21% Delirium Pinnacle Weapon you’ll need to accept the quest called “By Your Bootstraps.”
Destiny 2 Joker’s Wild 21% Delirium Pinnacle Weapon | Notorious Hustle Triumph
You won’t get much information from the Drifter about By Your Bootstraps, and a description of the mission merely tells you that you’ll need to complete the Notorious Hustle Triumph. Other than that it gives you nothing, so you’ll have to hunt in the Triumphs menu, examine the ones associated with this gambit, and look up Notorious Hustle. You’ll find you’ll have to complete the following tasks to get this Triumph:
- Complete 75 multikills
- Defeat Envoys and Primevals
- Infamy rank reset
For anyone who’s playing Gambit, the good news is that you’ll pick up the first two fairly quickly just by taking part in the Gambit Prime game mode normally, if you don’t want to focus on it. It’ll be the third one that causes the problems. Let’s have a look anyway.
How to complete 75 Multikills for the Notorious Hustle Triumph
The first part is getting all these Multikills in the Gambit game mode, in any activity. Simply put, a multikill is getting more than two kills in quick succession, although you’ll probably be aware of that by now. While you can get these through just casually playing Gambit for fun, if you want to grind 75 multikills quickly you should stick to playing on Normal. Enemies are a lot easier to kill, and more lower-tier enemies will show up within the first round.
The Breakneck auto rifle (which you can get as part of Gambit mode) is particularly good at bipping entire groups of enemies quickly, otherwise just pick a weapon that can take out 3 or more enemies in a few shots, from close range or otherwise. You’ll get this in no time, it’s just a casual grind compared to some of Destiny 2‘s other challenges… such as the other two on this list.
How to kill Envoys and Primevals for the Notorious Hustle Triumph
The second part is killing Envoys and Primevals within Gambit mode, which is fairly simple to do, but time consuming. For those that don’t know, the Primevals are the final bosses of Gambit mode, and the Envoys are the wizards that spawn around them. While these aren’t hard to find or kill, you’ll notice that there’s no specific number of these enemies you’re given to defeat. There’s just a percentage on the Notorious Hustle Triumph, and one round of Gambit will barely dent it. The good news is that you’ll be playing a lot of Gambit for the next task, so you’ll probably complete this as a matter of course.
How to reset your Infamy Rank for the Notorious Hustle Triumph
This is the hard part of this quest, as weird as it sounds. Resetting your Infamy rank is tied to Gambit’s ladder, which increases as you earn experience in the mode. Win matches and turn in bounties to earn XP, and this stacks, so the more you win, the more XP you get. Unfortunately, no matter what, this will take a long time to do. You have to climb 16 ranks to be able to reset your Infamy rank.
Once you’ve done this, maxing out Legend rank, go to the Gambit menu and choose “Reset.” If all goes as planned, you should have completed Notorious Hustle, and can turn in the By Your Bootstraps quest at the Drifter to get the 21% Delirium Pinnacle Weapon at last.

Here’s it’s unique lore entry:
“All right.” —A Dark Age drifter
A Dark Age drifter stood against an oncoming horde. The stuff of nightmares. Quad-armed, mouths full of shining carnivore teeth, carrying weathered but fully functional armor and weapons. They moved as a mob, their boots kicking up clouds of dust as they advanced, blades glinting in the sun.
“All right,” he said, a quiet salute to his dance partners as he wove around sizzling Arc bolts, coat trailing him like a shadow. He might not walk away from this. But they definitely wouldn’t.
His Machine Gun spoke much louder than he did, over and over.
He had never brought himself to shoot a human. Or anything even resembling a human. Risen included.
But these were no Risen. No humans.
He broke their advance like oil parting water, the repeating bloom of his heavy leading the way. A blue, viscous film covered the dirt, dust, and rocks when he was finished.
“All right,” he said, looking appreciably down at his smoking weapon. A trail of spent shells traced his path through his opponents’ ranks.
Hard to find a bite out here, most days.
Every day.
He wondered what they’d taste like.
