Yes, it’s Destiny 2 weekly reset time for April 16. If you’ve been following the comings and goings of Bungie’s loot shooter, you’ll know that some big changes are a-foot this week, and merriment is abound. With that in mind, we’ll take you on a whistlestop tour surrounding what’s changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset today. That includes a full list of activities, the Destiny 2 weekly reset time for US and UK players, plus the brand-new event that you should be looking forward to. Let’s get to it.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (April 16) | When is the reset time today?
Not much has changed here, ironically. The Destiny 2 weekly reset begins in earnest at 11 AM Pacific and 1 PM Eastern. For those of you across the pond, that’s 6 PM BST, which means you can head on home after a long day of work or school and revel in the changes being rung by Bungie.
You don’t need to log out to have the weekly reset applied. At the times above, you’ll see an in-game “New Adventures Available” message and things will refresh automatically.
What’s changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset? (April 16)
Did I say revel? That’s right, the Destiny 2 Revelry event is launching today with the weekly reset, which is bound to be yet another seasonal event that Bungie is going to hit out of the park. In it, you’ll be given access to the Verdant Forest, as well as getting the chance to grab the Inaugural Revelry armor set for keeps. There’s even five new weekly bounties coming from your Revelry point of contact, Eva Levante, at The Tower.
Speaking of which, there’s loads of refreshed activities to get stuck into this week. As per Bungie’s Ritual Reset guide, the following aspects of Destiny 2 will change in the weekly reset.
Call to Arms Crucible Challenge
Destination Flashpoints
Raid Challenge Encounters
Raid Checkpoints
Dreaming City Powerful Rewards
Spider’s Powerful Bounty
Gambit Powerful Bounty
Gambit Weekly Challenge
Nightfall Strike
Weekly Clan Engrams
Weekly Clan XP Caps
Eververse Bright Dust Selections
Don’t forget, too, that Xur is leaving and will return on Friday. However, his Invitation of the Nine bounty will stick around for another 48 hours after the Destiny 2 weekly reset.
