Sony Execs Respond To Anti-DRM PS4 Campaign

Ever since the Xbox One was revealed, gamers all over the net have been making their disdain for anti-used game and always-online policies well known. In fact, a huge chunk of the PlayStation community has taken to Twitter to campaign against rumors suggesting that Sony is going in a  DRM-heavy direction with the PS4.

In response to outcries from the PlayStation faithful, John Koller, Sony’s head of hardware marketing, tweeted: "This is why I love PlayStation fans- the passion bucket overflows #playstation."

And he's not the only one who voiced his affinity toward Sony fans, as SCEA producer Nick Accordino also posted a message on Twitter, which reads: "I love passionate #PlayStation Fans!!"

That said, we still have yet to receive official word from Sony as to whether or not the company plans to go ahead with anti-used DRM akin to what Microsoft is doing with Xbox One. Do you think the PlayStation manufacturer is carefully considering the requests of the hardcore gaming community? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
