How to Turn on Ghost Recon Breakpoint HDR Settings

As we mentioned, you can enable the Ghost Recon Breakpoint HDR settings on any of the three platforms that it launched on. We’ve handily broken these down for you below, so skip to your platform of choice and read our instructions to learn how to turn them on.

PC

  • If you have an HDR monitor, you won’t need to change anything in your settings before heading in-game. This is because HDR will automatically be supported in your monitor and PC providing you have the proper hardware.
  • Launch Ghost Recon Breakpoint. From the main menu, head to Settings. From here, head to the Video tab.
  • Scroll down until you see the HDR section. Toggle the HDR Calibration setting to “on” or “off” to enable or disable it.

PS4

  • Make sure your TV is HDR-enabled. You need a 2K or 4K HDR TV that supports HDR10 format.
  • Ensure you have PS4 4.0 software update installed and a premium HDMI cable.
  • Connect your PS4 to your TV’s output HDR connection using this premium HDMI cable.
  • Follow the instructions in the PC section above after launching the game.

Xbox One

  • Ensure your TV is HDR-enabled, has 2K or 4K resolution, and that it supports the HDR10 format.
  • Turn on your Xbox One or Xbox One X console. Press the “Xbox” button on your controller to open the guide.
  • Head to System, then Settings, and then Display and Sound.
  • From here, open Video Output and then Video Modes.
  • Check the boxes “Allow 4K”, “Allow HDR”, and/or “Allow Dolby Vision.”
