The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 725 shotgun is an incredibly powerful weapon due to its high stopping power and surprising range; so powerful, in fact, that some players are hoping Infinity Ward nerf the semi-automatic boomstick in a future patch. What if we told you that it’s possible to do one better, though? The Modern Warfare Judgement shotgun is a legendary variant of the 725 and players can’t really do any better than equipping it to their loadout. Here’s how to unlock it so that you can do just that.
How do you unlock the Judgement shotgun in Modern Warfare 2019?
Modern Warfare multiplayer now features a variety of rotating challenges and missions, some of which reward players with blueprints that can be used to wield weapons early. This means that you can get access to many different firearms (which often come bundled with attachments) before reaching the appropriate level to unlock them conventionally.

There are three legendary blueprints available in-game (excluding the XRK M4A1 preorder bonus), but as you’re looking to try and snag yourself a shotgun that’s what we’ll focus on here.
How to unlock the Modern Warfare Judgement shotgun
- Select “Multiplayer” from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare main menu
- Navigate to the “Barracks” tab
- Select “Multiplayer Challenges,” then switch tab to “Missions”
- Scroll down and activate the “Well Equipped” mission
- Complete its eight steps, which are as follows:
- 25 frag grenade kills
- 30 stun grenade stuns
- 25 molotov kills
- 20 proximity mine kills
- 25 semtex kills
- Gain 2,500 health using stims
- 25 throwing knife kills
- 25 thermite kills
- Satisfying all of the above objectives will unlock the Judgement legendary blueprint
- Head to the “Weapons” tab in the multiplayer menu
- Select “Edit Loadouts,” choose any custom loadout, then your primary weapon slot
- Navigate to the “Shotguns” tab, then scroll down to highlight the 725
- Select the “Armory” link beside this weapon and then equip the Judgement blueprint
Now you’re ready to start playing judge, jury, and executioner with your new legendary weapon. Give ’em hell!
