The Norman Reedus game list is surprisingly short — the man known for shows like The Walking Dead and movies like The Boondock Saints and Blade II has only been in a grand total of four video games so far, although some of them have been quite exceptional like Death Stranding. In this Norman Reedus game list, we’ll cover every game he’s been in so far!
Norman Reedus Game List | Death Stranding (2019)
Perhaps the most notable title on the Norman Reedus game list is also one of his more recent ones — Death Stranding. Lovingly called “FedEx simulator” by some, Death Stranding has you reconnecting a divided United States by delivering packages across the country and reconnecting a specialized data network, all the while avoiding otherworldly creatures and hostile humans.

Not only do you have to dodge monsters and people who would love to tear you to shreds, you’ll also have to navigate treacherous terrain. Taking one wrong step (or turn, in the case of driving a vehicle) can mean losing one or more of the pieces of cargo you’re carrying — not the best look for a post-apocalyptic mailman.
Norman Reedus contributed heavily to the look and feel of Death Stranding by providing his likeness for the main character along with voice acting and motion capture work. He also got pretty buddy-buddy with the game’s creator Hideo Kojima — not a surprise considering how much of a cinephile Mr. Kojima happens to be.
Norman Reedus Game List | The Walking Dead No Man’s Land (2015)
There have been quite a few games based on The Walking Dead, the most recognizable of which are probably the adventure stories from Telltale Games. Believe it or not, an XCOM-style game set in the franchise was also made and released for mobile devices.
The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land does many of the things you’d expect from mobile games from the mid 2010s. It’s nominally free-to-play, but it has plenty of ways to spend some cash and speed things up. You can unlock new heroes from the case of The Walking Dead and upgrade them to be more powerful in combat.
Mr. Reedus contributed his voice along with his likeness to this game. It’s an interesting take on the franchise, although it might not be quite the cinematic experience that fans would have hoped for.
Norman Reedus Game List | Silent Hills P.T. (2014)
The Silent Hills Playable Teaser — sometimes simply called “P.T.” — was practically a dream game for horror fans. Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro get together to make a teaser for an upcoming game called Silent Hills and it featured the voice acting talents and likeness of Norman Reedus at the forefront.
A Silent Hill game with these big names involved could have been amazing. It was always a very cinematic series, and that’s something that Hideo Kojima undoubtedly succeeds at.
Unfortunately, his relationship with Konami fell through, and the game was ultimately canceled. It would take several years for the trio of Guillermo Del Toro, Hideo Kojima, and Norman Reedus to reunite in another game: Death Stranding.
The death of Silent Hills was a darn shame, but there may be a light at the end of the tunnel: Hideo Kojima has hinted that he might want to make his own horror game.
Norman Reedus Game List | The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct (2013)
The Norman Reedus game list closes out on a bit of a sour note — suffice it to say, the very first game that he did wasn’t received very well. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct had huge aspirations that it failed to deliver on.
The best indication to its quality is likely in the game’s Metacritic page where it has a Metascore of 38 out of 100 and a User Score of 2.6 out of 10. That’s what we in the business call a “big oof”. Players and critics alike complained about a generally broken game with bland environments and a poor story.
According to the creator of The Walking Dead, he was generally unfond of it, repeatedly joking ab out how bad it was in a Reddit AMA. There was but a single upside to that entire game as noted in this comment: Norman Reedus. He
“In all honesty, it was at least cool getting to play Daryl Dixon, right? RIGHT? Come on, guys.”
Being associated with a bad game — especially if it’s your first time in the industry — could have been a black mark on Norman Reedus’ career. Thankfully, he kept at it and contributed towards making Death Stranding a great game.
