Contracts can be helpful tools used to rapidly get cash in CoD: Warzone. They range from simply opening boxes or moving to a location, to taking out enemy players. A squad can only have one Contract active at a time, which can make it very frustrating if one player chooses a less-than-optimal contract. For example, choosing a Bounty Contract forces the team into an engagement, which might not be the best idea if the squad isn’t well-armed. Here’s how to cancel Contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone.
How to choose another Contract in Call of Duty: Warzone
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the only way to “cancel” a Contract in Call of Duty: Warzone is to let the timer run out. This is usually only a matter of minutes, so it shouldn’t be too much of a drag. Just make sure you’re ready to select a new Contract once the timer ends.

Hopefully Infinity Ward considers allowing players to vote to cancel a Contract that’s in progress with a “Cancel Contract” button. Having two players out of the three-man squad vetoing a Contract would make for a majority vote, making it fair.
As of right now, a single player can significantly disrupt the initial moments of a match, where accumulating cash to get armor, revive teammates, and other incredibly useful tools can be crucial.
For now, let’s hope you matchmake with good teammates, who won’t immediately choose an impossible challenge!
