We haven’t heard much about Cyberpunk 2077 DLC just yet, but recent news from CD Projekt RED indicates that we may be hearing about it very soon. If you’re hoping for a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch content, it’s looking like there might be some good news.
VGC translated a Q&A session for Polish investors that we conducted by the Cyberpunk 2077 developer. One of the subjects they touched upon was what would be coming after the launch of the game. The company’s president Adam Kiciński stated that this upcoming cyberpunk game would have “no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had.”

If you haven’t yet played The Witcher 3 for some reason, that might not mean much to you. Well, that game had 16 packs of free DLC along with two major expansions (and several smaller updates along the way, too).
The one remaining question is when we’ll actually hear about this post-launch content. CD Projekt’s president stated that they’re going to do things in a similar way to The Witcher 3; we saw much of its pre-launch content announced a full three months before its actual release date.
Considering the September 2020 release date, that means we could be seeing more details about Cyberpunk 2077 DLC as early as June 2020. Unfortunately, we’ll have to patiently wait through the rest of summer to actually play it.
