Audiosurf 2 Now Available Via Steam Early Access

Fans of Audiosurf should know that the sequel is now available on Steam by way of Valve's Early Access system which allows devs to sell their game at an early state and polish with feedback from directly from players.

Certainly Audiosurf 2 is the kind of game that will benefit from the wide variety of music its players listen to as the title interprets any song in your digital library and gives you a track to play. Developer Dylan Fitterer writes on the game's Steam page:

Customizable mods are a big part of Audiosurf 2. I've finished a few already, but now I want to open it up to the community. There are lots of ways to play with Audiosurf's visual anticipation technology and I'm excited to see what the community comes up with. But more than that, I need you to tell me what to focus on next!

Fitterer also shares that his favorite mode in the game so far is Wakeboard mode which I need to check out, what with all my real-world wakeboarding experience.

Fitterer plans to add support for control pads, users of Mac, Linux, and Valve's upcoming operating system SteamOS, as well as Virtual Reality support for Oculus Rift kits. You can buy the game ahead of its final release on Steam.
