Spider-Man Remastered is also launching on PS5

Spider-Man: Miles Morales isn’t the only Spider-Man game coming to PS5. Sony revealed that Spider-Man Remastered, an upgraded version of the 2018 game, is also swinging its way to the PS5 with new features at the console’s launch.

Insomniac claimed that this remaster is “no simple up-res.” Instead, Spider-Man Remastered will have all the existing DLC, three new suits, some extra photo mode features, a couple new trophies, ray-tracing, better character models, improved facial animation and lighting, more pedestrians, greater draw distance, 3D audio support, “near instant loading,” haptic feedback on the controller, and a few optional performance modes like those seen in Miles Morales. It’s quite a lot.

However, Sony didn’t show what this updated game looked like so it might be best to approximate how Miles Morales looked on PS5 and guess from there. Sony didn’t confirm how much this will cost, but it is being included in the $70 edition of Miles Morales. The base version is $50, meaning that it is that Spider-Man Remastered might be around $20 (if you can even buy it separately). You can see the ultimate edition box with the little mention of the remaster below.
