[Update: Player Perks Revealed] EA And DICE Improve Battlefield 4 Stability On PS4 One Week After Launch

[Update]: Battlefield 4 players will not only get a steadier experience following updates to the game. Electronic Arts and DICE announced that playing between November 28th to December 5th will earn you double experience points, allowing you to make up for the time lost in plenty of progression.

Additionally, DICE developers will give up their exclusive access to the in-game M1911 pistol scope. The scope is normally unavialable to players, but logging on to play on December 5th will add the accessory to your stash.

[Original]: Despite successfully launching on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC last month, Electronic Arts and DICE have had some trouble providing a stable playing experience for the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4 which landed in consumer hands last week alongside Sony's new console.

Now, one week later, as the servers are about to see another influx of players on Xbox One, the developers have released a hotfix for Battlefield 4, improving stability for all users. Via the game's forums, a developer posted:

We have recently identified and eliminated three of the most common crash issues on PS4 in a hotfix. We will continue to investigate and eliminate stability issues as we find them. We have a game update on PS4 in the works for the week of Nov 25 and will be able to share details on it soon.

It seems like the immediate fixes have been made on the server side of Battlefield 4, but fans still experiencing trouble should wait for the November 25th patch. We'll update with details when they're available, but until then, share your frustration in the comments. Have you had trouble getting on the battlefield? Are you a PC fan like me with no complaints?
