Apex Legend‘s Season 10 is just around the corner. The latest character Seer is coming to the game, which will make tracking other players easier than ever. The stylish Legend isn’t the only big change coming to the game either. Indeed, World’s Edge is seeing a massive overhaul that will change the mood and the logistics of the map. So what Apex Legends Season 10 map changes will there be?
What changes are coming to the Apex LegendsWorld’s Edge map?
World’s Edge is already a pretty massive map with points of interest that players have come to love. However, Respawn is taking a scalpel to parts of it. In others, a sledgehammer. In a blog post, the developer explained just what players can expect to find when they land on the overhauled map next week.
The most noticeable change will concern the Refinery. The location, which exists on the far east of the map is one of the less frequented points of interest, despite being a good spot to drop. However, Respawn wanted to boost the incentive to land there. Now, the Refinery has been torn apart by a lava fissure and Hammond has constructed an even bigger fighting arena called the Climatizer. This supports both outdoor wider fights, but also more intimate indoor battles.
A little southwest of that, the lava and destruction has continued to run wild. The sorting factory is no more. Instead, now a new location called Lava Siphon stands in its place. In the blog post, it’s explained: “The goals were to break away from the traditional free-flowing layout that existed at Sorting Factory, and to introduce opportunities for chaotic, overlapping fights that stand out from other existing combat spaces.”
Elsewhere, a little bit of transport has been added back to the map too. The fan-favourite train sadly isn’t returning though. Making their debut in Apex Legends, Gondolas have been added to both of the new area. On top of that, small rotational changes have been added to various parts of the map to shake the location up a little bit.
