How many Aliens: Fireteam Elite missions can players expect to see in the campaign? Like Left 4 Dead or the upcoming Back 4 Blood, the majority of this game is the main set of missions to be played in single-player or co-op, but just how many missions are there in the Aliens: Fireteam Elite campaign? How long does Aliens: Fireteam Elite last, and how many hours of gameplay can fans expect to experience before they have to replay anything? Here’s the answer.
How many Aliens: Fireteam Elite missions are there?
At launch, there are currently twelve missions in total in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. These are divided up over four acts in the main campaign, with three missions in each act. The four acts available are:
- Priority One: Find and locate a Weyland-Yutani scientist to work out what they were doing on the old space station.
- Giants In The Earth: Search for survivors on planet LV-895.
- The Gift Of Fire: Head underground on planet LV-895 for a possible encounter with the Engineers from the Prometheus movie.
- The Only Way To Be Sure: The final apocalyptic attack on the Katanga xenomorph hive.
How long is Aliens: Fireteam Elite?
Depending on how well the player does, each mission should take around 20-40 minutes to complete, leading to a total of approximately 6-8 hours play time across the twelve missions available. However, each mission is designed to be highly replayable, much like other co-op games such as Left 4 Dead. There are multiple difficulty settings available, as well as additional Challenge Cards players can activate to give themselves even more of an experience. There is also a Horde Mode available for players who just want a pure survival mode too, to say nothing of the year’s worth of additional free content developer Cold Iron is promising for the game.
