Many Apple fans are eager to learn what improvements and upgrades the Apple Watch Series 8 will bring to the wearable tech sector. The Californian manufacturer is remaining tight-lipped for now, but it might be possible to gain some valuable insight via rumors and speculation. So, here are the latest Apple Watch Series 8 leaks; highlights include smaller screen bezels, an ultra-wideband upgrade, a faster processor, and a potential rugged model.
Apple Watch Series 8 Features: All of the spec rumors so far
The Apple Watch Series 8 could feature thinner bezels, more processing power, and better ultra-wideband support. According to leaks, these improvements will be available across standard and rugged models targeting athletic wearers.
Several reputable sources, including Bloomberg and Jon Prosser, made the claim that these would be Apple Watch Series 7 features. Obviously, that didn’t happen. The Apple Watch Series 7 does feature some minor upgrades, however, especially from a visual standpoint, it isn’t much different from its predecessor.
Rather than acknowledging that the leaks were inaccurate, Prosser asserts that they are indeed legitimate. In a recent Front Page Tech video (below), the tech analyst states that these designs may relate to the inevitable Apple Watch 2022 models. With that in mind, the Apple Watch Series 8 could feature all of the improvements that had fans eagerly anticipating the 2021 iteration.
Of course, these Apple Watch Series 8 tech specs are still just rumors and speculation at this stage. Recent events make it clear that Apple can throw analysts a last-minute curveball, so be sure to take everything with a pinch of salt. GameRevolution will update this post with any official information as and when it’s available.
In other Apple Watch news, the new WatchOS 8 update broke the most important feature.
