Forza Horizon 5 demo release date

When is the Forza Horizon 5 demo release date?

Forza Horizon 5 looks to be an exciting continuation of Forza Motorsport’s more fun-loving spin-off series. As such, a lot of players are eager to get their hands on a demo ahead of launch. Demos are somewhat of a staple for the franchise, but will FH5 follow suit with a free trial of its own? Here’s the lowdown on a Forza Horizon 5 demo release date for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Is there a free Forza Horizon 5 demo?

Forza Horizon 5 demo release date

Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition owners can demo the game ahead of launch on November 5, 2021. There is no free Forza Horizon 5 demo release date, as Playground Games isn’t releasing a trial version.

The lack of a playable Forza Horizon 5 demo might come as a surprise to long-term fans of the series. Its immediate predecessors had free trial versions, though, sadly, that isn’t the case this time around. In the FH5 FAQ, Playground Games plainly reveals that it “will not be releasing a demo for Forza Horizon 5.”

No FH5 demo could be a sign of the changing times. While it might seem simple, developing a standalone trial version can actually be quite costly. Since Forza Horizon 5 is available via Xbox Game Pass on day one, players already have a cheap (or free, for those with an existing subscription) way to try it out without spending the full asking price. Still, this won’t come as much of a consolation to players that prefer to buy and own their games physically or digitally.

In other news, Amazon Game Studios’ New World seemingly features a South Park Easter egg. Meanwhile, Back 4 Blood is a suboptimal experience for solo players.
