FNAF: Security Breach

Will FNAF: Security Breach be on PC?

Is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach coming to PC? The latest iteration in the animatronic horror franchise received a new trailer at the recent PlayStation Direct. As such, it’s got PC owners wondering whether the game will be a console exclusive. Fear not, as we dive into the FNAF: Security Breach release for PC, including Steam and Epic Games Store.

Is FNAF: Security Breach coming to PC?

FNAF: Security Breach

FNAF: Security Breach will receive a PC release when it launches.

Developer Steel Wool Studios has confirmed this. In an official blog post from way back in January 2021, they discussed new PC gameplay. In fact, the game is closely tied to Nvidia, with Steel Wool Studios debuting footage at the NVIDIA GeForce RTX Game On event earlier this year. As such, it’s confirmation that the game will release on PC. More than likely, it’ll launch on December 16, 2021 – the same as its PS4 and PS5 release.

Will FNAF: Security Breach be on Steam and Epic Games Store?

At present, there’s no confirmation as to which digital PC storefronts FNAF: Security Breach will release on. The game doesn’t yet have a Steam page, or an Epic Games Store page.

In fact, it’s more likely that when it releases, the game will only land on Steam. All games in the franchise, from the 2014 original to 2019’s FNAF: Help Wanted, are available on Steam. On the other hand, absolutely none of them appear on the Epic Games Store. As such, if you want to play Security Breach on PC, Steam might be your only option.

Of course, this is all subject to change, as details on the game’s release are still quite thin. It’s due to launch on December 16, 2021. That gives Steel Wool Studios a few months to confirm the game’s PC compatibility, as well as where you can buy it.

Elsewhere in the PlayStation Direct, First Class Trouble was confirmed as a PS Plus exclusive for November. We’ve also got details on the FNAF: Security Breach VR release.
