According to Executive Narrative Director, Mary DeMarle, there won’t be any additional Guardians of the Galaxy DLC. In an interview with Stevivor, DeMarle said that “There isn’t going to be any DLC” for Marvel’s GotG game. Unfortauntely, that means there isn’t any upcoming story downloadable content including new character, location, and mission expansions.

The quote originates from a pre-release timeframe, before the game’s positive critical reception. It’s possible that the following success and fan demand will change Square Enix and Eidos’ plans, though, of course, there are no guarantees. For what it’s worth, Square Enix recently went back on a promise not to release downloadable gameplay boosters for Marvel’s Avengers. If the publisher was willing to renege on a controversial topic, there’s a chance it could do so again in a more crowd-pleasing fashion.
