The Book of Boba Fett: Who is the Cad Bane voice actor?

The Book of Boba Fett has introduced the Clone Wars’ Cad Bane, with many left wondering who is the bounty hunter’s actor and who provides his voice. So is Cad Bane’s voice provided by the same actor who previously portrayed the villain? Or is he played by someone else entirely?

Who is the Cad Bane voice actor in The Book of Boba Fett?

Cad Bane’s voice in The Book of Boba Fett is provided by Corey Burton, who Star Wars fans will already know from his work as the same character in the Clone Wars and Bad Batch animated series. The voice actor reprises his role as Cad Bane here, delivering his familiar gravelly tones as the bounty hunter threatens Cobb Vanth.

However, while Corey Burton provides the character’s voice, he does not portray Cad Bane on-screen. Instead, Bane’s physical performance is delivered by Dorian Kingi, a stunt worker who has previously appeared in Venom, Ready Player One, and The Suicide Squad. Kingi has a lengthy history as a stunt performer, first appearing in 1994’s Double Dragon along with Jurassic Park sequel The Lost World in 1997.

Cad Bane was a big surprise in the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, which once again drew the focus away from its title character in order to show the Mandalorian finding Grogu. After deciding against drawing Grogu’s attention away from his Jedi training with Luke Skywalker — who reappears in CGI form — Din Djarin returns to Tatooine, where he meets with Cobb Vanth in an effort to convince the sheriff to side with Boba Fett in their upcoming war with the Pyke Syndicate. After the meeting is brought to an end, Cobb is confronted by the mysterious Cad Bane, who engages in a shootout with Vanth and his deputy. The deputy doesn’t survive, while Vanth’s fate remains unknown.

In other news, Fortnite is seemingly set to have a big collaboration with Star Wars, larger than the game’s previous efforts with The Mandalorian and Rise of Skywalker. A Call of Duty movie is also rumored to be in production, with The Rock allegedly set to star.
