A riddle protects the path to a secret in Dying Light 2. A clue in the VNC Tower gives players the phrase “If U 555, then I’m…” Some players will immediately recognize this phrase, while others will be completely perplexed by it. Luckily the solution to it is very simple, and players can use it as a safe code in the VNC Tower. It’s one step in a five-part easter egg that requires players to explore Villedor thoroughly.
What does “If U 555 Then I’m…” mean in Dying Light 2?
The answer to the If U 555 Then I’m… riddle in Dying Light 2 is “666.” While players might think they missed a note somewhere giving the hint needed to solve it. That’s not the case. This phrase is a lyric from a Slipknot song. It’s part of the chorus of the song “The Heretic Anthem” from the band’s 2001 album Iowa.
The chorus of the song goes:
“If you’re five-five-five, then I’m six-six-six
If you’re five-five-five, I’m six-six-six
But if you’re five-five-five, I’m six-six-six
What’s it like to be a heretic?
If you’re five-five-five, I’m six-six-six
What’s it like to be a heretic?”
The safe that opens with the code 666 is located near the note containing the riddle. Inside is an Evil Duckie easter egg. Players can take this duckie down to the lowest level of the VNC Tower and place it on the pentagram. Finding all five unlocks an easter egg that will lead players to their Doom.
Dying Light 2 is full of these easter eggs and hidden areas, and it’s evident that the developers put a lot of their personalities into various aspects of the game. We’re excited to see what other secrets players find as they explore the city of Villedor in the coming weeks.
