While none of the words in the solution are particularly unusual, the first three have a smattering of uncommon letters: the “F,” “W,” “B,” “C,” “H,” and “G” consonants. In and of themselves, they aren’t too difficult to get, but a lot of the word constructions this time around are tricky. There are multiple solutions to “?ARGE” and “?ORTH” that might make you waste a guess. “THERE” shouldn’t give you too much trouble once you figure out that the “E” is the only vowel in it.
Similar to Wordle, the common strategy for Quordle is to get as many letters as possible colored in green or yellow, while simultaneously eliminating as many wrong letters as possible too. Since this variant gives you three additional guesses, you can take advantage of this by choosing three words at the start of the puzzle that has all the vowels (with the “Y”) and most of the common consonants. If you do this, by the fourth guess you’ll usually have enough to work with before you have to start guessing seriously.
