The One Piece episode 1024 release date and time have been revealed for the Japanese dub with English subs on Crunchyroll. If you’re a bit confused as to the numbering, you’re not the only one. Between episodes 1022 and 1023, there is a recap episode labelled SP-3 which has thrown a lot of the ordering into disarray. Perhaps it’s better to say that this release date and time is specifically for the 133rd episode of Season 20.
At any rate, to make sure we don’t spoil the latest episode, let’s recap SP-3. Yes, it’s not the most exciting episode and many One Piece fans have been vocal about waiting a week just for a filler episode. But it does provide some context for the ongoing battle between Kaido’s gang and Luffy’s pirates. We basically got a rundown of Kozuki Oden and who he was a samurai in the Flower Capital, a daimyo of Kuri, a pirate with Whitebeard and later Roger, and a father to Kozuki Momonosuke. Though he ultimately fell to Kaido, one of his swords named Enma is in the hands of Zoro, who has already used the sword to pierce Kaido’s tough hide in the current battle.
What is the One Piece episode 1024 release date and time?
One Piece episode 1024 will air on Saturday, July 9. Please note the varying release times for the following time zones:
- 11:00 AM JST (July 10)
- 7:00 PM PDT
- 10:00 PM EDT
- 3:00 AM BST (July 10)
- 4:00 AM CEST (July 10)
Crunchyroll has been consistent with the weekly releases of the anime and has kept its word in keeping One Piece free for both paid and free users. That in and of itself is a bit of a miracle given how restrictive the streaming service has gotten with newly released animes. According to the Wiki for the anime, we actually have a title for episode 1030 to release in late August, so hopefully that means we won’t get any filler episodes between now and then.
What is the One Piece episode 1024 English dub release date?
The release date for the English language version for Episode 1024 is difficult to discern. So far, last we checked Funimation is in charge of the English dubbing as Crunchyroll doesn’t yet have those dubbed episodes. The latest batch of episodes in the English language is up to 806, which is understandably very far behind, but Funimation is catching up at a good pace so far. The streaming service tends to release these in batches of about ten episodes, so we hope to see the next batch soon.
