If you’re looking for the Skyrim Together Reborn mod compatibility list, you’re not the only one. As a sequel to the existing Skyrim Together co-op mod, this Reborn update releasing soon is a significantly upgraded version of its predecessor that’s been reworked from the ground up. So which mods will work together with Skyrim Together Reborn?
Skyrim Together Reborn compatible mods list
At the time of this writing, here are the mods that work with Skyrim Together Reborn, as revealed by the official listing on the mod’s GitHub page:
- Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)
- Address Library for SKSE Plugins
- SkyUI
In addition, the developers of Skyrim Together Reborn known as The Together Team say that the vast majority of graphics mods “will work fine,” according to the official FAQ for Skyrim Together Reborn. To check compatibility, you can download the full release of the mod on Friday, July 8, at 9 AM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 PM BST. Also, just in case you didn’t know already, Skyrim Together Reborn is made only for Skyrim Special Edition on Steam.

On that note, here is a list for all the mods confirmed to be incompatible at the time of this writing:
- Skyrim Souls RE – Updated
- DLL Plugin Loader
- SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)
The developers have also blocked Fraps, though it’s technically not a mod. The Together Team recommends that none of the players who wish to connect to each other using Skyrim Together Reborn install any other mods. While this updated mod will load SKSE by default, having any other mods might make the game unstable and crash. This even includes any Creation Club mods like the Anniversary Upgrade mod pack. By default, if a player is missing certain mods or has too many mods, the server will kick the player and notify the person with an in-game message.
That said, if you wish to report that a particular mod is compatible, the developers have a step-by-step process that you can use to add to the official Skyrim Together Reborn mod compatibility list. This involves going to this page on official Github for the mod, creating a new Issue for the mod and following the template they provide. You can also upvote or downvote mods that are on the compatible and incompatible lists.
