Is Stray Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Arguably the biggest game of July is Stray, a title in which players control a cat as it goes about its business in a post-apocalyptic, robot-filled world. If this sounds right up your alley and you own one of Microsft’s consoles, then you’re no doubt asking “Is Stray coming to Xbox Game Pass?” and Xbox Series X|S and One in general. Here’s the need-to-know in on a Stray Xbox Game Pass release date.

Will Stray be coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Stray is likely to be coming to Xbox Game Pass if it eventually releases for the console.

With Stray becoming immediately available on PS Plus for PS5 and PS4 players, it seems likely that Stray will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass, if and when it eventually releases for the Series X|S and Xbox One.

With that said, Stray on Xbox Game Pass has not been officially confirmed; it’s merely speculated that it will eventually be included in the deal.

Is there a Stray Xbox release date?

At the time of writing, there isn’t yet a Stray Xbox release date.

Exclusivity agreements can range from a few months to multiple years, so it’s tough to speculate exactly when Stray could come to Xbox.

For those looking for a suggested date, January 2023 would be my best guess. It’s six months after the PlayStation and PC launch, which is a common period of timed exclusivity. However, once again, nothing official has been confirmed and this is purely an estimate based on past releases.

This post will be updated when more information is revealed about Stray coming to Xbox and/or Xbox Game Pass.
