No Multiplayer Planned for Assassin’s Creed Rogue

Assassin's Creed Rogue, the upcoming "last-gen" entry in Ubisoft's super-popular action adventure series, won't have a multiplayer component, at least not at launch.

Speaking to IGN, a studio rep explained that "at this stage" there are no plans for multiplayer in Rogue. Whether or not that may change after the game launches remains to be seen, so there's still a possibility that a multiplayer mode could be patched in at later point.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is set to launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 11th. You can check out the game's announcement trailer here.
