The upcoming movie based on Ubisoft's hit Assassin's Creed franchise has been delayed. The film was originally supposed to hit theaters on August 7, 2015, but has now been pushed to an unspecified date.
Aside from the fact that Michael Fassbender of X-Men and Prometheus fame will star in the game-to-film adaptation, very little is known about the upcoming motion picture. We just recently got word that acting star Robert Downey Jr. is also in talks for a role in the movie.
Does the idea of an Assassin's Creed movie excite you? Game-to-film adaptations haven't been particularly good… really ever, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
