Written by the season’s showrunner and series creator, Jon Favreau, “Chapter 17” will see audiences join Mando on his return to his home planet, Mandalore. Hoping to pay his debts and make amends for taking off his helmet, a severe breach of Mandalorian code, he is on a path that he hopes will lead to forgiveness for what he describes as “his transgressions.”
The Mandalorian Season 3 will be made up of eight episodes in total, and while Disney has not yet given the official greenlight for a fourth season, Favreau has confirmed that it has already been written. This means we should expect plenty more action from Mando and Grogu in the coming years, which isn’t unsurprising when you consider the immense popularity of the series.
