Redfall crossplay across Xbox, PC Game Pass, Steam, and Epic Games Store has not been a feature that’s been all that clear. Since Redfall is a game exclusive to Microsoft platforms, it is expected that it would have crossplay between the Microsoft Store on PC and Xbox Series X|S (sorry, it’s not for Xbox One). But now we have more information on whether other PC storefronts will be granted crossplay as well.
Is Redfall crossplay across Xbox, PC Game Pass, and Steam?
Yes, Redfall will have crossplay between PC Game Pass and Steam. Bethesda indicated as much in a community Q&A that stated that you can “definitely play with your friends on Steam on Game Pass.”
From this answer, we believe that Redfall crossplay will extend to the Epic Games Store as well. The implementation would not be hard at that point. And since Redfall will have crossplay between Xbox Series X|S and PC, it looks like the game will feature crossplay across all release platforms. Hopefully, Arkane Studios will make it easy to connect with friends across different platforms.
