To fix the Diablo 4 Capstone Dungeon glitch where The Curator boss disappears, you need to make sure that you don’t summon any minions during the fight. You may not want to summon them during the entire dungeon either, just in case.
Multiple threads on the official Blizzard forums for troubleshooting and bug-related issues state that this glitch in the Cathedral of Light is impacting them. One user on YouTube has a video showing the severity of the bug.
We poured through some of the responses on the forums and on the Diablo 4 Reddit, and it looks like this particular bug mainly affects druids and necromancers. Having minions during this boss battle for some reason makes The Curator disappear, which traps players in the room. Strangely, they can still hear The Curator growling, but he’s essentially turns invisible and is nowhere to be found.
According to one user, though, the player was able to run the dungeon over again as a druid and clear it by grouping with some rogue friends and by not summoning his wolf pets during the fight with The Curator. Most druids and necromancers use a minion build, so not being able to use them in this fight will makes the battle that much more challenging, but hopefully grouping with some friends or strangers will be a one-time workaround for this issue.
Blizzard has yet to address this Capstone Dungeon glitch with a patch or hotfix. But hopefully, they will issue a fix soon.
