The Diablo 4 World Tier level requirements for World Tier 3 and 4 have been a subject of controversy. It’s been reported by some players that the controversial Patch 1.1 sneakily inserted a new level requirement that wasn’t put into the patch notes. This means that you need to grind even more before you can complete the capstone dungeons to reach World Tier 3 and 4. This is already on top of the nerfs made to XP gains, which has slowed progression in advance of Season 1. Here’s what the World Tier 3 and 4 level requirements are for Diablo 4 after update 1.1.
What are the new Diablo 4 World Tier 3 and 4 level requirements?
The Diablo 4 level requirements for World Tier 3 and 4 are Level 40 and Level 60 (with 50 and 70 being recommended), respectively. That said, these level requirements will be removed eventually.
Yes, that’s right, Blizzard has heard the fan feedback and will be discarding the level requirements for World Tier 3 and 4. This is according to Diablo 4 dev Adam Fletcher, also known as PezRadar, in a Tweet.
Now, it’s unclear whether this change will be made before Season 1 begins or if this is just something that they plan on doing at some point in Diablo 4’s roadmap. It’s also unclear if the level of the mobs in World Tier 3 and 4 will be reduced as well. Otherwise, there will be a sort of soft level requirement before your can character can really deal with the monsters in Nightmare and Torment difficulties.
That said, being able to reach the harder difficulties of Diablo 4 earlier will be great for players who think that World Tier 1 and 2 are just too easy for them.
