Supergiant Games, the developers behind Pyre have been hesitant to say how long the game is, because it can vary wildly depending on what difficulty you play on and how often you decide to restart battles rather than just letting them progress.
That said, you can finish the game in anywhere from 10-17 hours, reasonably. On top of that, there is local competitive multiplayer, and the game’s story branches out in such a way that you can replay it almost endlessly, choosing different options at different times.
At an incredibly modest $20 cost, this has insane bang-for-your-buck value. At worst, you’re spending $2 per hour of gameplay, which is way better than paying $60 for a 10- to 20-hour game as is the standard with AAA games.
