Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon give you some great character customization choices, including changing your haircut. In addition to buying new clothes, you can get a fabulous new hair style to make your in-game avatar reflect your sense of style.
You won’t be able to change your hairstyle when you begin playing Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, though. Read on below to find out what you need to do to get a killer new hairdo.
How to Change Your Haircut in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon
Before you can become a fashionista in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, you’ll need to put in some legwork. You’ll need to get your first Pokémon and play the game up until you reach Hau’oli City. You’ll find your first hair salon in Hau’oli City, but there are more in the other big settlements throughout Alola.
Once you’ve reached the Salon, you can get a new hairstyle. However, it’s not free. You’re going to have to shell out some Poké Dollars if you want a new haircut in Ultra Sun and Moon.

To get your hair cut it will cost 4,000 Poké Dollars. To get it dyed will be 2,000 Poké Dollars. If you get your hairstyle cut and dyed, you get a small discount and only have to pay 5,000 Poké Dollars.
Unfortunately, there’s no preview function for hairstyles in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. You have to get your hair cut and dyed blindly and only get to see it after you’ve paid. If money is a big concern for you, you can always save your game before you try a hairstyle. If you don’t like the one you’ve chosen, just reload the game, and you’ll have your money back.
