Flower Cup:


Beat the Mushroom Cup on normal.

Star Cup:


Beat the Flower Cup on normal.

Rainbow Cup:


Beat the Star Cup on normal.

Gira Gira Desert stage:


Win by 800 points in the normal Star Cup.

Moogle Garden stage:


Dunk three times on the Daisy Garden court in the Flower Cup.  A panel will appear.  Collect a blue seed to unlock the moogle garden stage.

Sunset Beach stage:


Win by 200 points at Noko Noko Beach between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. in Exhibition mode.

Play as Birdo:


Beat the Mushroom Cup on hard mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as Boo:


Beat the Flower Cup on hard mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as Bowser:


Beat the Star Cup on hard mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as Cactuar:


When playing the Desert stage in Exhibition mode, sometimes you'll see a Cactuar jump up and run away.  Win the race after this happens to unlock Cactuar.

Play as Dixie Kong:


Beat the Mushroom Cup on normal mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as Flyguy:


Beat the Star Cup on hard mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as Moogle:


Beat the Star Cup on normal mode with the silver prize or better.

Play as Ninja:


Beat the Rainbow Cup on normal mode.

Play as Paratroopa:


Beat the Mushroom Cup on normal mode with the bronze prize or better.

Play as White Mage:


Beat the Rainbow Cup on normal mode with the Silver prize or better.

Alternate costumes:


While moving your character into the basketball ring, hold Up, Down, Left, or Right on the D-pad to change his or her costume.

Peach's alternate costume:


Beat the Mushroom Cup on normal mode with the Silver prize or better.

Daisy's alternate costume:


Beat the Flower Cup on normal mode with the Silver prize or better.

Flyguy's alternate costume:


Beat the Star Cup on hard mode with the Silver prize or better.

Yoshi's alternate costume:


Beat the Flower Cup on hard mode with the Silver prize or better.

All Silver ball:


Beat the dribbling challenges.

Blue and Silver ball:


Finish training mode.

Star ball:


Beat the Star Cup with the Gold prize.

Watermelon ball:


Beat the Flower Cup with the Gold prize.

Yoshi Egg ball:


Beat the Mushroom Cup with the Gold prize.

Hard mode:


Beat the Rainbow cup on normal mode.

Saikyou mode:


Beat the Rainbow cup on hard mode.

Rainbow Road Dribble Race:


Break the Peach Castle and Sunshine Road dribble race records.
