Those looking to get firing with Far Cry 5 earlier than others are in luck. There’s a Far Cry 5 stress test on the immediate horizon. With the release date coming soon, here’s everything you need to know about the Far Cry 5 stress test.
Far Cry 5 Stress Test: When Is It?
Starting on March 16 for an undisclosed amount of time, the stress test is only confirmed to be available for PC owners, specifically those with a UPlay account. If you’ve got an email attached to UPlay, you’d best get checking to see if you’ve been given an opportunity.
Far Cry 5 Stress Test: What’s Included?
Clocking in at a whopping 80GB, the Far Cry 5 stress test is specifically for the Far Cry Arcade component, with its emphasis on map creation and sandbox gameplay. Per ResetEra, there will be no story content, and only four maps to play on. If you were hoping too put some hours into the single-player content, you will have to wait until the game’s release on March 27.
Far Cry 5 Stress Test: How Can I Join?
Those looking to share cool moments with their friends and/or the world-at-large should be aware that NDAs will need to be signed before Ubisoft grant you access to the stress test. No photos, no videos, no sharing accounts. Even then, the publishers won’t be pushing out codes to the lucky few. Rather, it’ll be a case of downloading it straight from your UPlay account once Ubisoft activates the stress test.
