PUBG Minimum Requirements: PC, Mobile and Console

Meeting the PUBG minimum requirements can be a tricky thing to achieve, what with how demanding the game is. With its rich and detailed open world, this title has a reputation for bringing even enthusiast hardware to a halt. Thankfully, following numerous updates that focus on optimizations, PUBG is running a lot smoother.

With various versions of PUBG now available, I think it’s about time to update you on the PUBG minimum requirements for PC, mobile, and console.

PUBG Minimum Requirements: PC Specifications

The PUBG minimum requirements for PC aren’t as extreme as you might expect. While you will need to drop the quality settings down considerably for a smooth frame-rate, this actually reduces a lot of the distracting effects, making it easier to spot players. (I have a decent rig, and I still put everything on “Low” and “Off” for clearest visuals and highest possible frame-rate.)

Here are the PUBG minimum requirements for PC:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-4340 / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

PUBG Minimum Requirements: PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile is compatible with the iPhone 5S and above, so long as they are running software version 9.0 or later. Performance-wise, players may experience a few hiccups on the 5S, with the iPhone 6 being recommended for smoother gameplay.

Those hoping to play PUBG Mobile on an Android device will be happy to learn that over 500 Android phones are compatible. You’ll just need to ensure that the device is running 5.1.1 Lollipop or later, and rocks at least 2 GB RAM.

PUBG Minimum Requirements: Xbox One

PUBG is available for the original Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. You will, of course, get better visuals and (generally) better performance on the Xbox One X version, but all of Microsoft’s consoles are compatible.
