PUBG Patch Notes Xbox One: New PUBG Patch Goes Live

The PUBG patch notes Xbox One have been released, with the battle royale game’s update 12 bringing with it optimization changes and performance fixes, alongside bug fixes and the introduction of the Western Military Crate. This drop crate can be purchased using BP, and will be available for all players to buy after the PUBG patch goes live.

The PUBG patch continues the consistent support that PUBG has received on console, and has been released ahead of the Xbox One release of the desert map Miramar. This brand new map, which is already available to play on PC, is set to launch on PUBG Xbox One in May.

PUBG update 12 makes a selection of necessary changes to the game. In terms of optimization and stabilization, dust particle effects have been improved while driving vehicles, grass objects on the Erangel map have been optimized, and a voice chat issue that caused some crashes has been fixed.

A bug that saw vehicles to occasionally flip over for no discernible reason has been fixed, while a bug which saw players appear upside down in their vehicles has also been removed from the game. Players will also now receive more collision damage when hit by heavier vehicles, so watch out for any enemy cars while you’re roaming its arena.

UI fixes include removing a bug that saw team indicators not appearing in-game, and the LT/RT scrolling not working when using a certain controller preset. A cosmetic bug that also appeared when players wore certain clothing or footwear has also been fixed.

All-in-all, it’s not a substantial update, and nothing of note has been introduced aside from the new crate. However, with Miramar’s release just around the corner, developer PUBG Corporation is clearly trying to fix these issues before the map is pushed onto Xbox One.

PUBG Maintenance: When Will the New PUBG Patch Release?

A bout of PUBG maintenance is taking place before update 12 goes live, so players are being left to wait until the new PUBG patch is brought online. There has been no confirmed release time for the new update aside from it being set to go live later today, so patience is the key here.
