Fortnite Refund Policy: How to Get a Skin Refund

Implemented in the new Fortnite 1.57 update (3.6 update on PC) is the Fortnite Refund Policy, which allows players to return some of their paid-for cosmetic skins in exchange for V-Bucks. If you’re a player who regrets spending a chunk of change on a particular skin, and would love to be able to turn back the clock, now you can! Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Refund Policy, including how to actually find the refund menu.

Fortnite Refund Policy: How to Get a Refund

The Fortnite Refund Policy is a great feature for those who are suffering with an extreme case of buyer’s remorse, but to use the function, you’re first going to have to locate it! If you’re searching through menus, struggling to find the “Refund” button, allow us to tell you exactly where it’s found:

  1. From the main menu, head to the Item Shop.
  2. Then click Purchase History to see your purchased skins.
  3. Click whichever skin you want to return and you’ll see a V-Bucks amount.
  4. Confirm to refund the skin or cancel to go back to the Item Shop.

Before rushing to return all of your items for fresh ones, however, be wary that each player only gets three returns in total. That’s three lifetime returns, so choose wisely!
