The new Fortnite Week 1 challenges are now available for Season 4 Battle Pass owners to complete. These are the very first objectives available in Season 4 and therefore the first steps to ranking up through the tiers. As soon as the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass is purchased, seven new challenges will open up. The tasks range from hunting down chests and secret locations, to taking out enemies with specific weapons.
Here’s the full breakdown of the Fortnite Week 1 challenges, as well as information about the new rewards.
Fortnite Week 1 Challenges: The Objectives
Despite the brand new season, the Fortnite Week 1 challenges should seem pretty familiar to previous Battle Pass owners. Perhaps Epic Games is starting things off slowly, with some easy objectives to carry out in the newly comet-struck landscape.
Right off the bat, the pistol and sniper rifle eliminations should essentially complete themselves. If you manage to find a Port-a-Fort, be sure to use it and complete that challenge. Landing in Flush Factory should quickly lead to those three required kills, and dropping down into Haunted Hills will knock out the chest request easily. As for the Tomato Town treasure map and “Search F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E Letters” challenges, you’ll likely need to use a guide or two… Stay tuned for those!
- Deal damage with Sniper Rifles to opponents (500)
- Search Chests in Haunted Hills (7)
- Use a Port-a-Fort (1)
- Search F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E Letters (8)
- Follow the treasure map found in Tomato Town (1) (HARD)
- Pistol Eliminations (3) (HARD)
- Eliminate opponents in Flush Factory (3) (HARD)
Fortnite Week 1 Challenges: The Rewards
Unlike previous seasons, the Fortnite Week 1 challenges only reward players with XP. There are no Battle Stars to earn this week.
Completing the “Normal” difficulty challenges nets 500 XP a pop, while the “Hard” objectives each award 1,000 XP. Complete all seven Fortnite Week 1 challenges for a 5,000 XP reward.
Once all seven Fortnite Week 1 challenges have been completed, and the rewards have been received, it’ll be time to wait for next week’s reset, where the Fortnite Week 2 challenges will be waiting for you!
