Get ready to hoard that loot with the new Fortnite Week 3 challenges, which all Season 5 Battle Pass owners will soon be able to access and complete. This is the third week of the new Battle Pass, and adds seven new objectives to make for a current total of 21 challenges. Each one of these challenges grants Battle Stars, boosting players up through the tiers, unlocking new loot. As usual, if you manage to complete all seven weekly challenges, you’ll earn a bonus 5,000 XP, and also unlock a new loading screen and secret Battle Star tier! If you don’t own the Season 5 Battle Pass, you can still access the Fortnite Week 3 free challenges, which consists of three challenges: two simple, and one “Hard.”
Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Week 3 challenges, with the information provided by the dependable Fortnite Tracker app.
Fortnite Week 3 Challenges
The Fortnite Week 3 challenges are made up of both free challenges, which are made available to all players, and Battle Pass challenges, which are exclusive to those who purchased the Season 5 Battle Pass.
Looking first at the Fortnite Week 3 free challenges, we can see a tricky objective for those who mainly play in Solo. Dealing damage to opponents as the passenger of an all-terrain kart or shopping cart is really only doable in Duos or Squads. (I’m not saying it’s impossible to do in Solo, it’s just tricky to switch seats and then shoot!) Using a launchpad should be fairly straightforward. As for the treasure map found in Flush Factory, that would indeed be “Hard,” if not for the fact that we’ll be providing an easy-to-follow guide! Expect that soon!
As for the paid-for Fortnite Week 3 Battle Pass challenges, things aren’t looking too tough. Searching chests in Fatal Fields is simple enough, as is eliminating opponents in Haunted hills. Grab some explosives and take out three enemies for the “Hard” challenge. Taking a look at the currently labeled “TBD” challenge, we’ll have to wait for Epic Games to update its game files to learn more about that.
Free Challenges
- Deal damage to opponents in a single match. (500)
- Use a Launchpad (1)
- Follow the treasure map found in Flush Factory (1) Hard
Battle Pass Challenges
- Search Chests in Fatal Fields (7)
- Shoot a Clay Pigeon at different locations (1)
- Eliminate opponents in Haunted Hills (5) Hard
- Explosive Weapon Eliminations (3) Hard
Though the Fortnite Tracker app has proven accurate with previous Fortnite challenge leaks, the above objectives are still subject to change, as Epic Games is able to alter them before launch. If the Fortnite Week 3 challenges do change, we’ll update this post to reflect that.
