Fortnite Soaring 50s Wins Not Counting: Why Aren’t My Wins Being Tracked in the LTM?

If you’ve hopped on post-Fortnite 5.21 update and you’re eager to try out Soaring 50s, the new Limited Time Mode (LTM), then you may be in for a bit of a shock. That’s because, as of right now, Fortnite Soaring 50s wins are not counting. Not only that, but your K/D ratio won’t shift a jot either. There’s a very good reason for that: Essentially, you should’ve read the fine-print!

Fortnite Soaring 50s Wins Not Counting: Why Aren’t My Wins Being Tracked in the LTM?

According to Epic’s Fortnite 5.21 patch notes, the reason why Soaring 50s wins are not counting towards your current tally is because, well, whatever Epic says goes. Here’s what the developer has to say: “Profile Stats (K/D & Wins) are not tracked in this mode.”

While that may seem unfair, it’s clear that the Soaring 50s LTM is focused on fun first and foremost. It’s a game mode with heavy emphasis on explosions and flying through the air. It doesn’t exactly scream “ranked.”

That means that any sort of competitive edge, such as tracking wins or updating your kill/death ratio is out of the window. Because who needs to worry about if you have Victory Royales racking up when you should be bouncing off rooftops and blowing up half the map? No one, that’s who.

Do Wins Count in Other Fortnite Limited Time Modes?

It varies week-to-week. For example, while the Soaring 50s Limited Time Mode isn’t tracking anything meaningful, the brand-new Sniper Shootout LTM, with its emphasis on heavier combat, is tracking all kills and wins through the game’s leaderboards.

In future, it’s worth scouring Epic’s patch notes (or, y’know, sticking with GameRevolution) to check that any and all LTMs you’re looking to pour hours into aren’t being wasted in the hopes you thought they’d count towards leaderboards and other rankings.
