Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the next installment in the long-running video game series, and is due to land in stores in October. Sony has had a decent relationship with publishers Activision of late, so it’s only right to expect to see a Black Ops 4 PS4 bundle in the very near future, right? Here’s what we can speculate about a possible exclusive bundle for Black Ops 4 on the PlayStation 4.
Black Ops 4 PS4 Bundle – Will We Get a PlayStation 4 Bundle?
As of right now, it appears not. There’s been no official word, or even rumours for that matter, about Sony and Activision choosing to produce an exclusive Black Ops 4 PS4 bundle. That might seem strange for some, especially when you consider that the duo partnered together on a limited edition Black Ops 3 PS4 bundle when the last Black Ops game came out. Released in November 2015, the Black Ops 3 PlayStation 4 bundle set players back $349.99 when it launched a few months later.
Black Ops 4 PS4 Bundle – Should We Expect a Bundle to be Announced?
Realistically, yes. Sony and Activision’s partnership has a decent history of late. With exclusive releases and downloadable content appearing first on some PlayStation 4 titles such as Destiny and Crash Bandicoot, their relationship runs deep.
It would be a huge disappointment if the pair didn’t come together and reveal that a Black Ops 4 PS4 bundle was in the works. They are running out of time, however, with Black Ops 4 due to release on October 12. It could well be that an announcement is made in time for the festive period instead. With kids pressuring their parents to buy them exclusive bundles with Black Ops 4 in tow, Sony and Activision could expect to rake the money in around November and December. Any potential Black Ops 4 PS4 bundle announcement could, therefore, come a month or so after the game’s initial release.
