Pokémon Go‘s continuous updates have helped it to corner the video game market on smartphones. The regular updates put out by developers Niantic mean that, two years after its initial release, Pokémon Go is going stronger than ever. Part of the charm of the game is being able to evolve Pokémon into their other forms without the need to go out and catch them, such as fighting-type Pokémon Tyrogue. How did you get it to evolve into one of its three forms though? Here’s how to get the Pokémon Go Tyrogue evolution.
Pokémon Go Tyrogue Evolution: How do You Catch One?
Firstly, you’ll need to get yourself a Tyrogue. Unfortunately, you cannot catch them in the wild like other Pokémon, so you’ll need to hatch one from an egg that you acquire. You’ll have to walk a distance of 5km to get an egg to hatch, and there’s no guarantee that the egg you have will produce a Tyrogue. Keep trying though, and you’ll eventually bag yourself one.
Pokémon Go Tyrogue Evolution: How do You Evolve Tyrogue?
Again, there’s a ton of probability at play here. You can get the Pokémon Go Tyrogue evolution to work by simply looking at its stats, but those stats can determine which evolution you get. If its attack stat is its highest one, your Tyrogue will evolve into Hitmonlee. If its defence is higher than any other stat, you’ll get Hitmonchan. Finally, if its stamina or HP are its highest attribute, you’ll get Hitmontop.
You can’t decide what stat you want to be at its highest, so you’ll just have to make do with whatever version of the Pokémon Go Tyrogue evolution you get. The only change you have of getting a different outcome is if two of the above stats are exactly the same. For instance, if Tyrogue’s attack and defence are 10 each, you’ll have a 50-50 chance of getting Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. Don’t forget you’ll need candy to help it evolve too. Good luck getting the Pokémon Go Tyrogue evolution you want.
