Not everyone sticks to consoles when it comes to EA’s annual soccer series. For those who want to fire up their rig come release day, you’re going to need a good handle on the FIFA 19 PC requirements as well as the FIFA 19 recommended settings. Not only do you want to squeeze every last drop out of one of the best-looking sports games ever, you also don’t want the game to run at the speed of Tony Hibbert tracking back against an onrushing winger so we’ll also take a look if if your PC can run FIFA 19. Aren’t you lucky?
FIFA 19 PC Requirements:
As per the official EA site, the minimum FIFA 19 requirements are as follows:
OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 – 64-Bit
CPU: Core i3-2100 @ 3.1GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
Hard Drive: At least 50 GB of free space
Video: NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB or AMD Radeon R7 260
DirectX: DirectX 11 compatible (7 required for DirectX 11)
Input: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller
Online Connection Requirements: Internet connection required to install and play.
The most interesting topics there about the FIFA 19 PC requirements include what appears to be an always-online state being needed to run the game, as well as confirmation of both the PC and, presumably, the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game weighing in at around 50GB on release.
FIFA 19 PC Recommended Settings
But we don’t want a barebones FIFA 19 PC title, do we? That’s why EA has also released the recommended list, for those who want their game to rival and better their console brethren.
OS: Windows 10 – 64-Bit
CPU: Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
RAM: 8 GB
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
Hard Drive: At least 50 GB of free space
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon R9 270X
DirectX: DirectX 12 compatible
Input: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller
Online Connection Requirements: Internet connection required to install and play.
The main obvious differences between the minimum and recommended settings is that you’re expected to have is the CPU and the video drivers. For the CPU, the reference towards an Intel i3 6300T is a pointed one; you should be looking at a CPU made in the past 36 months if you want to run FIFA 19 at a suitable level.
As for the drivers, those listed just wring a little bit more out of the graphics and are far more powerful all-round. Without those, you’re going to maybe look towards playing FIFA 19 on console this year.
