Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS4

Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS4: Is Symphony of the Night PS4 Coming?

Could a Symphony of the Night PS4 edition be possible? It’s been more than two decades since Konami initially released Castlevania Symphony of the Night for the original PlayStation back in 1997. Now it looks like the iconic game could be returning anytime soon on a current-gen console.  Read on below to find out if a Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS4 could be coming.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS4: Is Symphony of the Night PS4 Coming?

According to Gematsu, the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) of Korea has reportedly rated Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Castlevania Rondo of Blood for the PS4, in both Japanese and English. This could mean one of several things. Konami could be planning ports or perhaps even remasters of those games on the PS4.

A Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS4 HD remaster would probably be the most likely to happen. Since the game was released in 1997, it would definitely benefit from an HD remaster. A two-in-one collection containing HD remasters of both Symphony of the Night PS4 and Rondo of Blood PS4 might be our best bet for now.

However, keep in mind that the developer has not announced or confirmed anything official about the return of Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Castlevania Rondo of Blood. The earliest and most opportune time for Konami to confirm or deny the report would be during Tokyo Game Show 2018, which will be running from September 20 to September 23, 2018.

On the other hand, Sony also recently announced a PlayStation Classic console. It will launch in December 2018, along with a total of 20 pre-loaded games. Only five games have been revealed so far, including Tekken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Wild Arms, and Ridge Racer Type 4. It’s possible that Castlevania Symphony of the Night could be one of the games included in the list.
