The PUBG Test Server update 22 has gone live for PC players of the battle royale game. While it won’t be arriving on live servers until early October, test server players will be able to check out some of the major changes included in PUBG Patch 22 before everyone else. These include a highly anticipated Ranking System, a new wheel menu for health and throwable items, map selection, and more. Read on below to find out what’s changed in new test server update.
PUBG Patch 22: Rank System
The new PUBG Rank System has arrived, and there are a total of eight ranks for players to strive for. Players will be given a Rank based on the amount of Rank Points earned. For example, the first Rank can be achieved by playing ten provisional matches. Refer to the chart below to find out how many Rank Points are required for each Rank promotion or demotion.
PUBG Patch 22: Map Selection
The highly requested map selection feature has finally returned, allowing players to select which maps they want to play on. The map selection works by granting players the choice between selecting Quick Join or choosing a specific map. The Quick Join function drops the player into the first available game on a random map.
PUBG Patch 22: Wheel Menu for Healing and Throwable Items
PUBG Patch 22 also adds a wheel menu for quick access to healing and throwable items. The default keybindings for items will be G or F1 for throwables, ~ or F2 for health/booster items, and F4 for emotes. Clicking the right mouse button will deactivate the wheel.
