Mark of the Ninja‘s remastered version is due to be released on the Nintendo Switch in the near future. The 2012 side-scrolling stealth action video game has been given a makeover ahead of its re-release on the Switch, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. Only one of the consoles have so far been given an official release date, however. So when is the Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Switch release date?

According to IGN, developer Klei Entertainment have announced that the Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Switch release date is October 9. That’s only a fortnight away now then, and means that anyone who wishes to play the game on Nintendo’s hybrid console can get their hands on it before anyone else. As of writing, there’s been no confirmation of how much the game will cost, but at least Switch owners can play Mark of the Ninja: Remastered before their console rivals.

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Switch Release Date – What  Makes the Remaster Different from the Original?

The Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Switch’s upgrades are all pretty self explanatory. The title has been given an overhaul of its graphics to allow them to look much sleeker on current generation consoles. Additionally, the audio has been revamped, there are new and improved cut-scenes and better effects than the original.

Klei Entertainment has also revealed that the Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Switch remake will contain an entirely new story mission, a new cast member, developer commentary on how the game was remastered, and additional items to purchase in the game. Mark of the Ninja was critically acclaimed when it was initially released six years ago, so here’s hoping that the remastered version will give it a new audience.
