Overkill’s The Walking Dead beta will be available to players very soon. However, there are some catches for accessing it. The PayDay 2 developer’s adaptation of the popular zombie franchise will be coming out November 6 so this will be a good chance for you to try it early. Let’s dig in.
What Is the Overkill’s The Walking Dead Beta for PC?
Rather than letting all fans access Overkill’s The Walking Dead beta, only PC players will have access to it. The only way to gain access to it is through pre-ordering the game. A pre-order of the standard edition of the game will only net you one beta code. However, those who have pre-ordered the deluxe edition will get four codes. The keys will become available on Steam shortly before the beta begins. The pre-orders will guarantee you a key for the beta and it looks like there is no other easy way to get into it.
When Is the Overkill’s The Walking Dead Beta?
Overkill software will allow players to access the beta three times before the game launches fully. The time-slots are as follows:
- October 9 13:00 EST to October 11 03:00 EST
- October 12 13:00 EST to October 15 12:00 EST
- October 19 13:00 EST to October 22 12:00 EST
Is There a Overkill’s The Walking Dead Beta for Consoles?
Many will be wondering if the Overkill’s The Walking Dead beta will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The answer is that the beta will not be coming to consoles. As mentioned prior, only pre-orders for the PC edition of the game will net you access to the closed beta. For console players, the only way to be able to play the game is to wait until the February 2019 release of the game. This will be much later than the PC release.
