The release of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is almost here. The highly-anticipated latest installment in the long-running franchise will be launching for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow on October 12, 2018. Gamers will be glad to learn that the fan-favorite Dark Matter Camo will return in Black Ops 4 as a camo unlock. Black Ops 4 Dark Matter Camo – What is the Dark Matter Camo?
The Dark Matter Camo is a hidden weapon camouflage which was originally introduced in Call of Duty Black Ops 3. It features animated purple and blue smoke swirling around, with moving black and red spots adorning the weapon as well. According to Charlie Intel, the Dark Matter Camo will be making a triumphant return in Black Ops 4.
Black Ops 4 Dark Matter Camo – How to Unlock Dark Matter Camo
In Black Ops 3, the Dark Matter Camo was unlocked by completing all Camo challenges for all weapon classes in the game or obtaining Gold Camo for every weapon available in multiplayer. In order to unlock the Black Ops 4 Dark Matter Camo for a weapon in the upcoming game, players will need to unlock every other Camo available for that particular weapon.
In Call of Duty Black Ops 4, each Camo for every weapon has its own set of unique challenges to complete before said camo can be unlocked. After that, players will have to move on to the entire weapon class. Simply put, players must unlock Gold for every weapon in the game to unlock and equip the Black Ops 4 Dark Matter Camo.
