Oh dear. A Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Negative 345 Silver Wolf error code is doing the rounds. While Xbox One and PS4 players seem generally unaffected, PC players are currently scratching their heads, desperately searching for a Black Ops 4 Negative 345 Silver Wolf fix. So, what can you do when you can’t play Black Ops 4? Panic? Not quite… not yet, anyway.
What is the Black Ops 4 Negative 345 Silver Wolf Error?
Wtf is a negative 345 silver wolf…?
Same thing happened for MP Beta anyone got a solution ? pic.twitter.com/8z6clsCoMR— Advin (@Advin__) October 12, 2018
The problem seems to pop up when trying to select an online mode, be that Blackout, Multiplayer, or co-op Zombies. Upon clicking through to the mode you’ll be met with a “The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 servers are not available at this time” message, plus an utterly bizarre A.B.C. error that seems to trail off into Morse code, mid-alphabet. And then, the kicker: the ambiguous Negative 345 Silver Wolf message.
Essentially, it means you can’t play Black Ops 4 at all, which must be quite a bummer to those who have forked out at least $60 on launch day. Is there a fix? Well, about that…
Is There a Black Ops 4 Negative 345 Silver Wolf Fix?
So far, there’s just been radio silence from Activision, as well as Treyarch. There’s no official Negative 345 Silver Wolf fix. Simple as that. There are a couple of things you can still do, however, to ensure that your time isn’t being completely wasted until a patch or hotfix is dropped.
One particular suggestion from Reddit appears to yield positive results, at least on PC. By going to the Battle.net app and clicking on the Black Ops 4 icon, you should be able to see a “Scan and Repair” option. Click that, then press “Begin Scan.” Then, fingers crossed!
Elsewhere, the generic fixes can often help: rebooting your modem, performing a hard reset of your console, as well as ensuring your NAT settings are open are all avenues you should explore if that first solution doesn’t get you anyway.
Until then, it can’t be stressed enough that Activision needs to be made aware of it. Tweeting Activision Support should be able to push a fix through faster. But be nice.
