With its start date imminent, Bethesda has revealed how and when you can Preload Fallout 76 beta. Many will be concerned that with the B.E.T.A’s file size, they won’t have enough time to install the game to play as much as possible of it. Fear not, though, since you will be able to preload the Fallout 76 beta very soon.
When Can I Preload Fallout 76 Beta?
You can preload the Fallout 76 beta from 7 PM Eastern on October 19. However, there seems to be a catch. Bethesda had previously said that preloading the beta would not be possible. However, in a recent tweet, they announced that Xbox One users will be able to do so as of today. There currently is no news on whether PS4 or PC fans will have the ability to pre-install it. Xbox One fans should rejoice, since the file size of the beta will be 45 GB in size, and these things take time.
How to Preload Fallout 76 Beta
To be able to preload the Fallout 76 beta, you must have pre-ordered the game beforehand. There is no other way of getting into it. From there you need to proceed to the Xbox One Games Store. There you need to search for ‘Fallout 76 Beta’. From there, proceed to the store page for it and download the file. Once the Beta starts, you will be able to play it.
For PS4, the process is similar. You need to first pre-order the game, then when the preload becomes available, search for it and download it. For PC, this process is different. You will need to have downloaded the Bethesda Launcher. This is a free program, so there are no worries of paying extra. You will also need to pre-order the game from the launcher to access the Beta.
The beta will begin on Xbox One October 23, and October 30 for PS4 and PC.
