Finding the Red Dead Redemption 2 necklace will set you on your way to completing the Errand Boy trophy/achievement. Just as with the Penny Dreadful for Jack, and the pocket mirror for Molly quests, this one has you searching for a necklace for camp mate Tilly. These request quests have us searching high and low for all sorts of items, and for what? A reward or two.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Necklace – What is the Request?
As soon as you have found and added Tilly to your camp, you can take on her quest for a necklace. You can find a necklace pretty early on into the game, however, so you can find what Tilly wants before she asks you to find it.
Completing the quest will earn you an item in reward and increased camp morale, which equates to more donations for you to spend as you please. The quest is also one of the many that can be completed on the way to earning the Errand Boy achievement/trophy. To claim that trophy/achievement, you’ll need to complete any five of the request quests from your camp mates.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Necklace – Location
There are plenty of necklaces to find to give to Tilly. Unlike other fetch quests received from camp mates, however, they aren’t all found in specific places. Any necklace will do for Tilly, she isn’t fussy. Enemies in the latter stages of the game will drop Silver Lockets randomly. If you can’t wait for this, however, there is one particular necklace you can find early on.
You can find the Jack Hall Treasure early on in Red Dead Redemption 2. It contains a pearl necklace that you can either sell for $4 or give to Tilly. The map above highlights its location. You’ll find it in the Hanging Dog Ranch, just to the north of the Little Creek River. This is to the north of Big Valley in West Elizabeth.
To find the Jack Hall Treasure and the pearl necklace, simply enter the small building on the east of Hanging Dog Ranch. Once inside head into the kitchen/dining room and find the small cupboard on the wall underneath the stairs. Simply open it up, and your treasure is waiting for you inside. To finish the quest, go back to your camp and talk to Tilly, handing over the pearl necklace (or any other you may have found later on).
